Effective communication is crucial in the workplace for promoting understanding, building relationships, and problem-solving. Without effective communication, misunderstandings, conflicts, and missed opportunities can occur, which can negatively impact productivity and morale. Therefore, it is important for individuals and organizations to prioritize communication skills and ensure that they are effectively communicating with their colleagues, supervisors, and clients.

  1. Understand how behavioral styles affect communication;

  2. Develop greater self-awareness of their own communication style and the affect it has on their results;

  3. Structure messages for the most impact when communicating with low context cultures;

  4. Get better team results through clear and effective communication.

  • Ice breaker and guidelines: Establish group rapport, create a safe learning environment and get the group focused on communication;

  • Analyzing the strengths and challenges of the four DiSC behavioral styles: Understand how people’s behavioral style affects their communication preferences and identify best practices to adapt your messages to different styles;

  • Communicating effectively at work: Communicate more effectively with team members and clients who have different communication styles and priorities than your own;

  • Creating complete communication using 4-Part model: Frame, Advocate, Illustrate & Inquire - create complete and effective communication for different situations and communication preferences;

  • Applying the learning to the workplace: Create individual action plans to take learning back to work.
